Of course, one marvels at the efforts and technical prowess of the professionals making their way around the course, but there are nearly 600 2-person teams traversing the same 700km across the Cape. Many of these riders are parents, hold demanding jobs – and balance their training into their schedules ride. We spoke to some of these everyday heroes to find out about their training for the Epic.
