Courtney Wevers
Courtney is a professional triathlete and triathlon coach with 20 years in the sport and more than six years coaching athletes from beginner to elite.
Courtney Wevers has spent 20 years in triathlon. She progressed from elite junior racing to elite age group competition, and has now raced professionally for three years. That experience gives her a first-hand understanding of what it takes to develop, stay consistent and perform over the long term.
She has coached for more than six years across a broad range of athletes and events. Her work includes elite junior development pathways, women's specific clinics, and coaching from short course to Ironman distance triathlon and ultra running. She works with athletes from those starting out in the sport to elite competitors chasing world championship qualification.
Before coaching full time, Courtney was a Health and Physical Education teacher. That background shapes her holistic approach. She sees training, mental readiness and nutrition as connected parts of performance, and she coaches each athlete as a whole person rather than a set of training numbers.
Courtney is especially passionate about increasing women's participation and success in triathlon, running and cycling.
