Your body.
Your bike.
Your fit.
A bike fit should start with you — your measurements, your flexibility, your history — before a single adjustment is made. The ErgoFiT system is the only predictive fitting methodology of its kind. Available at our labs in Cape Town and Girona.
How the ErgoFiT system works
Three sequential stages, each independent of the others. The redundancy built into the process corrects for almost all possible fitter errors — removing subjectivity from a discipline that has historically relied on it.
Off the bike, first
An in-depth assessment captures training history, flexibility, and precise body measurements including trochanteric leg length, arm length, and stature. This data feeds the ErgoFiT algorithm — the only predictive system that incorporates limb-length ratios, flexibility, and riding experience — generating an accurate predicted fit report before you touch the bike.
Objective, reproducible
Predicted measurements are applied to the bike using either traditional measurements or the ErgoFiT X-Y reference frame — a universal coordinate system anchored to the crank axle. A crosshair laser ensures accurate, repeatable implementation of every parameter. The initial position is documented so that any changes can be reversed precisely.
6-point validation
A 6-point digital optimisation process analyses the fit against reference ranges, advises which parameters require adjustment and by how much, and flags any values outside tolerance. Fine adjustments are made until an optimal fitment is confirmed. An electronic fit report is emailed to the athlete on completion.
Four tiers. One methodology.
Every tier uses the ErgoFiT system. What changes is the depth of kinematic assessment and the level of clinical involvement. Pricing is shown per lab — book directly into Cape Town or Girona.

What an objective bike fit looks like
A great bike fit starts with the rider, not the bike. Measurement comes before adjustment. Position is determined by data, not opinion. The ErgoFiT system applies these principles consistently across every tier — from a first-time racer to a WorldTour professional.
Start off the bike
Body comes first. Trochanteric leg length, arm length, stature, hamstring and spine flexibility, training history. These determine the position; the bike adapts to the rider, not the other way around.
Frame fit is foundational
Two riders of identical height can need frames two sizes apart if their leg-to-torso ratios differ. ErgoFiT's predictive algorithm calculates the right frame size before purchase — the only fit decision that can't be reversed by saddle and stem changes.
Comfort and speed work together
Holding an aerodynamic position requires the body to support it. Saddle height affects glute recruitment; reach affects pelvic rotation; both affect breathing economy. The fastest position is the one you can actually hold.
Why riders choose S2S bike fits
“I moved to Spain to enjoy my retirement, exploring the region on my bicycle. Custom doesn't necessarily mean it fits correctly. After experiencing some nerve issues I sought out the advice of Science to Sport. They listened to my concerns, explained why I might be experiencing them, made some changes and double-checked them. I can say that the changes made were transformative — I continue gravel riding, with great intensity, pain free.”
